LSMNJ is seeking a FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE HELPER to assist at both LSM of Camden and Pennsauken Senior Residence. The incumbent will receive competitive wages, a generous benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Holidays & Retirement Plan with up to 8% company match!).

SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY: 3 days in Pennsauken; 2 days in Camden (and rotating)

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Prepares units for move in of new tenants following move out of previous tenant
  2. Responsible for: painting, vacuuming, and completing minor repairs.
  3. Responds to maintenance requests from the tenants and other co-workers.
  4. Maintains the grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness including snow removal from around the building.
  5. Checks lighting systems in the building and around the exterior areas of building and replaces bulbs when necessary.
  6. Checks smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector and replaces when necessary.
  7. Completes annual compliance and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the LSMNJ Code of Ethics and Business Integrity in the performance of duties.
  8. Adheres to the Organization’s Policies and Procedures regarding the Compliance Program of the organization and is timely in reporting any possible concerns.
  9. Follows all local, state and federal regulations as they pertain to the position.
  10. Adheres to the Organization’s Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor, necessary for the efficient operation of the department/facility.

Experience and Skills:

Education/Training/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a current/valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Skill(s): Reading, Writing, Buffing, Painting, Cleaning, Shampooing carpet, and minor repairs.

Experience: 1 year experience as a maintenance helper.

Equipment/Machines to be Used: Plumbing Snake, Drill
