Lutheran Crossings Enhanced Living, a senior care community located in desirable Moorestown (south Jersey), is currently seeking a full-time Staffing Coordinator.

General Responsibilities 

Responsible for the scheduling of nursing team members for the nursing department and maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Coordination of staffing and scheduling for the Nursing Department and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.

 

 

 

 

Essential Duties

 

  1. Supports the mission and values of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey, which is: Through the power of the Holy Spirit, and in response to God’s love as revealed in the Gospel, the mission of the Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey is to serve those in New Jersey who hurt, are in need, or have limited choices.

  2. Maintains appropriate staffing levels in the facility in order to provide care to the residents as well as maintaining budgetary compliance.

     

  3. Compose and manage the master computerized schedule on a monthly, weekly and daily basis.

  4. Distributes schedules to the units on a timely basis.

  5. Corrects daily staffing sheets on a daily basis to reflect actual staff worked.

  6. Assesses needs in job positions.

  7. Posts the daily staffing numbers in the display case daily for public review as required by State and Federal regulations.

  8. Coordinates all time off and vacation requests for  DON approval.

  9. Assists Nursing Department and Human Resources Department in recruitment efforts when possible.

  10. Maintains the Relias system with up to date employee data and ensures attendance and completion of training assignments for all team members.

  11. Responsible for payroll based journal requirements and submission.

  12. Posts required community staffing information to CMA to meet the requirements for PBJ.                   

  13. Meets all assigned deadlines as assigned by supervisor and attends all meetings or programs as directed.

  14. Alerts DON and Executive Director to potential issues or problems.

  15. Maintains appropriate attendance adhering to supervisory requirements as directed by DON.

  16. Collaborates with DON to ensure accuracy of nursing payroll.

  17. Attempts to decrease agency use through the recruiting of our own staff and pool to fill positions.  

  18. Report to clinical supervisors the staffing needs for the facility.

  19. Other duties as assigned by my supervisor, necessary for the efficient operation of the department/facility.

  20. Complete annual compliance and HIPAA training and exhibit behavior as set forth by the LSMNJ Code of Ethics and Business Integrity in the performance of duties.

  21. Adhere to the Organization’s Policies and Procedures regarding the Compliance Program of the organization; be timely in reporting any possible concerns.

  22. Follow all local, state and federal regulations as they pertain to the position.

  23. Adhere to the Organization’s Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Microsoft Office Applications

 

Experience:

Experience in creating and maintaining personnel schedules preferred
